SERVICES & PRICING

All makeup services include complimentary quality faux mink lashes

Individual Services ( per service, per person )

Hairstyling Only - 100

Makeup Only - 150

Hairstyling + Makeup Bundle - 250

PAYMENT TERMS

To secure your booking date, a 50% non-refundable booking fee is required. Your reservation is not confirmed until we have received this fee, which is non-transferable to another individual. By paying this booking fee, you agree to comply with our terms and conditions. The remaining balance is due in full 7 days prior to your event.

CANCELLATIONS

Should you need to cancel your booking for any reason—including but not limited to health pandemics, changes in government regulations, weather events, travel restrictions, venue closures, or personal and financial circumstances—your payment will not be refundable.

In the unlikely event that Janene Cissi Hair and Makeup Professional Services is unable to fulfill your booking due to illness, injury, personal emergencies, or other circumstances beyond our control, we will make every effort to find a replacement artist or refund 100% of the amount you have paid.

POSTPONEMENTS

If you need to postpone your booking, we are happy to transfer your booking fee to a new date within one year of the original date, subject to our availability. If we are unavailable on your new date, or if the new date is more than one year after the original date, your booking fee will be non-refundable and no longer transferable. Please note that prices may be subject to change for your new date.

WEDDING PRICES

All wedding prices advertised on our website include services for the bride along with her bridal party. If you require only bridal services, we will provide a separate quote once the booking is confirmed.

Our team is not obligated to provide additional touch-ups once our services are completed. If you desire this extra service, please notify us when finalizing your booking.

TRAVEL/PARKING

Travel prices will be quoted and agreed upon before bookings are locked in. In short, you will pay for both the distance and travel time if we come to your location.

We charge for roundtrip travel based on the distance from the artist’s starting point to your location and back.
Distance Fee: $1+GST per kilometer traveled (round trip)
Plus Road Tolls
Minimum Fee: $30+GST per artist (covers fuel and transport).
Travel Time: $50+GST per hour for travel time, as we cannot take other jobs while traveling.
Long Distance: If travel takes more than 3 hours one way, you will need to provide overnight accommodation for the artist.
Auckland CBD Fee: $100+GST per artist.

PUBLIC HOLIDAY SURCHARGE

In accordance with New Zealand law 2025, a public holiday surcharge will be applied to all bookings made for public holidays. The standard public holiday surcharge is 15% on the total.

EARLY START SURCHARGE

If the booking starts before 7 AM, there is a surcharge of $40+GST per artist for each hour required. The minimum charge is $40+GST.

TRIALS

Non-Refundable: All makeup trials are comprehensive services and are non-refundable.
Scheduling: Trials are generally scheduled from Monday to Thursday, as weekends are dedicated to weddings and special events. We will make every effort to accommodate your preferred date.
Attendance: To ensure a productive collaboration with the artist, we recommend attending your trial alone. Additional guests may distract from the consultation and workflow.

BOOKING ADJUSTMENTS

Adding Attendees: We will do our best to accommodate additional attendees, either by fitting them in with existing artists or by booking extra artists if available.
Removing Attendees: You may remove individuals from your booking for valid reasons up to 30 days before your event. Cancellations made less than 30 days before your booking will incur a 50% charge of the original quoted amount. If services are canceled entirely within this timeframe, the full charge will apply.

Please note that we base our bookings on your initial numbers, and may have booked additional artists who would have turned away other clients to accomodate. We recommend confirming bookings with any guests who may want makeup or hair services.

ALLERGIES

It is the client’s responsibility to inform our team of any known allergies or skin sensitivities that they or others in the party may have. We suggest bringing your own preferred products if you are sensitive to the brands we use.

IMAGES

To continually update our portfolio and showcase our work to potential clients, we may take photos of our services on your event day for use on social media, marketing materials, and our website. If you prefer not to be photographed, please let us know in advance.

We also invite you to share your professional photos with us once they become available, preferably via a link to your photographer’s album for optimal quality.
